President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan will visit Germany on July 7-8, presidential sources said Monday, as Germany is preparing to withdraw its troops from Incirlik airbase.

Donald Trump has appeared to side with Saudi Arabia in its diplomatic stand-off with Qatar, referencing his recent trip to the Saudi capital of Riyadh in which he vowed to end support for Islamic extremism. 

The Kurdistan Workers’ Party (PKK) militants attempted to attack an airbase of the Turkish air force in the country’s Diyarbakir Province, Turkish media outlets reported May 15.

“The war in Syria has plunged 80% of its people into poverty, reduced life expectancy by 20 years, and led to massive economic losses estimated at over $200 billion since the conflict began in 2010, according to a UN-backed report”. Poverty in Syria has inclined significantly in the past six years and can be described as infrastructure of nation, wealth, institutions and much of its workforce have been “obliterated.” Due to existing poverty in Syria recently, it caused some problems such as civil war, numerous of refuges and devastated cities, solutions of which depend on necessary activities by stopping the war, holding a democratic elections, setting up the special zones in refugee camps and investing by donation by affluent countries to Syria economy.
